Enough talk. I’ve pulled the plug and we’re leaving behind the American life for the foreseeable future. I’ve sold the commuter car, sold most of the furniture on Craigslist and packed a small storage space with the remainder of our home. One suitcase per person (a family of four) packed into the minivan and we will begin a drive from Texas to New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Oregon. We will camp in homes, hotels, tents, teepees, and yurts along the way as we revisit some of America’s most beautiful land. Then, we’ll fly to China. Beijing to visit with family, and then to the far South (Yunan province) to rice paddies and red lands where we will start a two year nomadic expedition of Asia.
